Chinese Orange Cauliflower

Who needs take-out when you can make this meat-free Chinese Orange Cauliflower with just 9 ingredients?

½ medium head cauliflower

½ cup organic dried apricots, unsulphured

1 cup orange juice

2 tbsp coconut aminos or liquid aminos (or soy sauce)

1 clove garlic

⅓” fresh ginger

Juice of ½ lemon

½ bunch green onions, sliced (for garnish)

½ tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and line a large baking dish.
  2. Wash and dry cauliflower. Remove leaves and cut into 1″ pieces.
  3. Place the cauliflower onto the baking dish and place into the oven for 20 minutes.
  4. While the cauliflower cooks, prepare the sauce. Place all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and process until smooth.
  5. Remove the cauliflower from the oven and cool for 10 minutes. Place it into a large bowl (or keep it on your baking dish, your call), and pour over the sauce. Stir until all of the pieces are covered. Place back into the oven for 8 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving

YIELD: 2-3 servings
